A downloadable game for Windows
Game made for the global game jam 2023 "Roots".
After 48 hours we had everything finished, we only had to fill the level with assets and mechanics. So we invested about 12 hours to finish the level.
Even so, the game does not contain the final level, where the theme of the jam that was being worked along the levels culminates, and one of the mechanics is not explained, making it impossible to move forward (full right path).
How the theme was to be implemented
The game shows you how its mechanics work through observation and then your repetition. So if you come across a mechanic that you don't know, you can only get it by intuition.
At the end of the level, you would be shown all the mechanics, the ones you know and the ones you don't, and these mechanics would open the way to the end. Making that depending on your roots, where you come from, you understand the world in a different way, making that each player knows how to solve some puzzles that others do not.
